TO SPREAD THE CULTURE OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN SCHOOLS
Sustainable development is an indispensable social model to face the disastrous climate changes that are endangering our lives and the entire planet. The current climatic emergency is one of the most serious and important of our time and in the coming years it is estimated that the damage will increase and become irreversible. That is why it is necessary to implement methods that preserve natural resources, exploiting them more consciously to minimise the environmental impact of human actions.
#SOStenibilmente is a project born in 2019 to promote environmental education in schools, spreading the principles of sustainable development among the new generations. Our goal is to encourage youth to play a leading role in the environmental field, in order to build a society that is more aware of its environmental impact and of the risks and consequences of every daily action. With our project, we offer personalized teaching programs for teachers and cultural and recreational activities between students, citizens and institutions.
#SOStenibilmente is a personalized environmental education course for primary and secondary Italian schools. The project uses practical and interactive tools to spread the principles of sustainable development and foresees:
In a short time, our environmental education project for schools has achieved great success, with high participation and excellent results.
Since the beginning of the course, in September 2019, we have printed and shipped hundreds of educational kits in more than 900 primary and secondary schools throughout Italy.
Over 600 teachers and many journalists, educators and entertainers participated in our training courses on sustainable development, learning innovative and engaging methods to increase children's awareness of the human environmental impact.
